APT-3DCP2 Pan and Tilt Head

The Daiwa Remote Control Pan and Tilt Heads have become famous for their outstanding quality, performance and reliability. The Daiwa motorized Pan and Tilt Systems have been developed for remote control of television cameras when used in security, teleconferencing and distant learning applications. The Model APT-3DCP2 may be controlled at limited distances by manual joystick controllers such as the ESI Model 160 or preset shot boxes. The digital version of the APT-3DCP2, The ESI DPT 115 can be controlled at extended distances by digital type controllers such as the ESI Model 180 or the user's computer system. The Daiwa remote control pan and tilt head is constructed of cast aluminum with coreless drive motors and bronze, steel, and polyacatar drives for smooth, quiet camera positioning. The Model APT-3DCP2 provides feed back potentiometers in both pan & tilt models for preset positioning. (when directed by a preset compatible controller). The pan range is 260 degrees while tilt angle of plus and minus 45 degrees from horizontal. User adjustable limit switches are provided for on both axis. Pan and tilt speeds are variable and a function of the control system. The electrical connector on the base of the head is for pan, tilt and lens control; this connector is a 25 pin D-Sub plug. The convenient lens interface connector is a DIN-8 pin socket. Two camera video connectors(BNC) are provided on the head. The unit is supplied with the two mating connectors.
