Remote Pan & Tilt and Lens Control System

Description

The APT-3DCP2 Remote Control Pan and Tilt Heads have become famous for their outstanding value, quality, performance and reliability. The APT-3DCP2 motorized pan and tilt units have been developed for remote control of video cameras when used in broadcast, teleconferencing and distant learning applications. The APT-3DCP2 may be controlled at limited distances by manual joystick type controllers such as the ESI Model 160 or ESI Model 165-5RPS. The APT-3DCP2 remote control pan/tilt head is constructed of cast aluminum, bronze, and steel with coreless DC motors. The unit incorporates delran drive gears for smooth, quiet positioning of small video cameras. The model APT-3DCP2 provides accurate position feed back potentiometers in both pan and tilt for preset positioning. The pan range is 260 degrees with a tilt angle of plus and minus 45 degrees from horizontal. User adjustable limit switches are provided for both axes. Pan and tilt speeds are variable and a function of the control system. The electrical connector on the base of the head is pan, tilt and lens control, this connector is a 25-pin D-Sub plug. The convenient lens interface connector is a DIN-8 pin socket. Two-camera video (BNC) connector is provided on the head. The unit is supplied with two mating electrical connectors. The pan, tilt and lens interface is a 25-pin D-Sub receptacle. The lens interface is a circular eight pin DIN-8 plug.
