The Model 80 provides pan & tilt and lens control for a single camera and lens.  Two presets per camera site may be selected from the Model 80.  These preset locations may be programmed directly from the Model 80 front panel and recalled by simply depressing the appropriate preset switch.  The digital design of the Model 80 allows custom controls to be included for unique customer requirements.  The control functions may be activated via a 2 position switch located inside of the Model 80 chassis.

The pan and tilt control is provided by a proportional deflection joystick.  Control of the zoom and focus is accomplished with switches to activate Near and Far focus as well as Telephoto and Wide zoom.  The speed of the motion is controlled by a speed control located directly beneath the zoom and focus controls.

The versatile digital interface of the Model 80 to the DPT 115 allows a variety of camera/lens combinations to be controlled by the Model 80.  In addition, options such as iris control or special serial camera interfaces may easily be implemented.

The Model 80 features a sloped front paned for ready access to all of the Mode 80 controls.  The Model 80 has a rear mounted ON switch and a front panel mounted LED power on indicator.

An RJ-11 style RS-422 connector and a 9 pin D style RS-232 connector are located on the rear of the unit.  This presents the option of interfacing to the DPT 115 with either an RS-422 or RS-232 serial interface.  The DPT 115 may be interfaced to both an RS-232 and RS-422 interface simultaneously.  A wall mount power adapter is provided with the unit.
