RLC-90 Remote Lens Controller

Description

The RLC-90 is the only long distance remote lens controller for the Panasonic HD camcorders. The RLC-90 controller provides the capability for long distance remote operation of the record/pause, zoom, focus, and iris over a single eight conductor CAT5 cable, this cable provides digital data and power to the 90-CAM camera adapter module. The Model RLC-90 provides remote lens control for Panasonic cameras including AG-HPX170, AG-HVX200, AG-HVX200A, and AG-HMC150.

The RLC-90 operates at long distances and provides similar functions as the Varizoom VZ-Stealth-PZFI.

A tally feature is also included; a terminal board is provided on the RLC-90 connector panel as a signal input for the tally feature. A cable input from the user’s switcher or other external device controls the tally function. The tally indicator is a group of four super bright LEDs located on the front surface of the 90-CAM camera adapter which may be mounted on or near the camera.

The RLC-90 hand held controller which transmits commands to the camera via the 90-CAM module is operated by the camera operator at the control room or other remote central location. A list of RLC-90 controls and indicators follows;
